Yesterday I did a 10 minute warm-up on an elliptical, stretched the fuck out of my ITB, and other muscles, then hopped on a treadmil. I made it 1.8 miles, and I started cramping. no leg pain, but cramps. I ate too much I think.
I am not in a good place. I wish I had a bob green, and a gym in my building.

Friday Night I ran 3 miles/30 minutes on a treadmill. No pain at all.

Wednesday Morning I ran 1.8 miles and 18 minutes, stopped because of pain.

Now I am up to 2.3 miles. I guess this is progress, but it is also FRUSTRATING!!! I was in awesome shape! Running is so good for the body. I just looked at a photo from July 2006, smack in the middle of my Marathon Training, I know that the day the photo was taken, I had gone on a 14-16 mile run that morning, without stopping, at a good pace. My body look sleek! I've been hitting the elliptical at least 5x a week the past few weeks, but it just does not give me the results that a comfortable 5 mile run would.
To all of you runners, Stretch that ITB! Do the cross training, keep your hips muscles strong! I feel like I am paying for something due to my own ignorance.
I want to buy a new pair of running sneaks, but I need to wear out my current ones.
I was given a new prescription - I have 6-8 more weeks of Physical Therapy. I like my therapist, he is great, and attentive and we small talk enough so that It doesn't feel weird when he pulls my Hip out of socket but putting a large holster type strapo just above my vaggy patch.

I'm also looking at Mother Nature to help me out a little, I have to dress a little homeless when I go for my short runs because I don't have winter running gear, and I don't want to buy any, because I don't plan on having this 10 or so lbs I put back on since the marathon with me in a year.

Fuck you physical retardation!
